Del total de casos (1.740) ocurridos en 2019 el 76% termin\u00f3 hospitalizado. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Por otra parte, el 43,8% de los brotes por salmonella, est\u00e1n asociados al consumo de mayonesa casera preparada en el hogar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p> La salmonelosis es una bacteria que se puede contagiar trav\u00e9s del consumo de alimentos contaminados de origen animal, principalmente huevos, carne, aves de corral, entre otros. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Medidas de prevenci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li> Realizar un lavado frecuente de manos con agua y jab\u00f3n, y la limpieza de los objetos que entraron en contacto con huevos y carne de aves de corral crudos, incluidos los mesones, utensilios, platos y tablas de cortar. <\/li><li>Coma o refrigere r\u00e1pidamente los huevos y los alimentos que contengan huevos despu\u00e9s de cocinarlos.<\/li><li>No mantenga los huevos, o los alimentos hechos con huevos, a una temperatura ambiente por m\u00e1s de 2 horas, o 1 hora si la temperatura es m\u00e1s alta de lo habitual.<\/li><li> No debe usar huevos que est\u00e9n da\u00f1ados o quebrados y en caso de consumir alimentos que contengan huevos crudos o poco cocidos, como mayonesa casera, aderezos para ensaladas tipo c\u00e9sar y postres, debe asegurarse que est\u00e9n hechos s\u00f3lo con huevos pasteurizados. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p> Los s\u00edntomas de la enfermedad comienzan a manifestarse entre 6 y 72 horas, despu\u00e9s de la ingesta de la bacteria, y la enfermedad dura entre 2 y 7 d\u00edas.
